Born in England in 1955, I first began working as a professional photographer in 1976 in Belfast during the height of the Troubles. Since, I've been involved in many fields of both art and photography. Presently I make news and editorial images which are distributed through a Scottish news agency and Getty Images.      

 

GAZA CITY, PALESTINE - MARCH 14: Children play among the rubble and wreckage of their homes destroyed during Israel's 22 day assault which began on December 27, 2008. 1,300 Palestinians and 13 Israelis were killed during the assault. Gaza is one of the world's most densely populated areas with a population of some 1.4 million, most of whom depend on international aid for survival.
